I have an ODROID-XU. I'm running Android and NativeBOINC on it. I'd like to use it to process Rosetta@Home data. Are there plans to support this? Can I help with the effort in anyway?

Hi Bill

I doubt it - for reasons see here: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/forum_thread.php?id=6251#75738

I've discovered that NativeBOINC will at least accept Rosetta. While I have both SIMAP and Rosetta defined as projects it currently is banging away at SIMAP, only. I haven't actually seen it attempt to run Rosetta yet. But, the OpenSUSE i386 is set up the same, and is only running Rosetta and no SIMAP. Although I've seen it run SIMAP.

Actually, it does try (I attached Rosetta to mine). The thing is, there aren't any tasks for an ARM processor (look under the info tab after you load new tasks, it'll be there).

...Yep, a (teen) Lego fan. Two favorite products are Bionicle and LU, both gone. :P
