I see that Rosetta is one of the few projects that still even advertises support for PowerPC processors running OS X. However, I've been attached to the project with my dual G5 for the better part of a year and have yet to receive any work for it. Shall I assume that support for this platform by your project has been discontinued? If so, please update your "Applications" page.

I'm sure this topic will include posts about PowerPC being old and useless, etc. but the computer is going to be used whether there are still BOINC projects that support it or not--I just figured that the unused portion of its computing resources could be doing something other than just being idle. After all, that's sort of the point of BOINC.

Rosetta Mini is only for "Mac OS X/Intel", for PowerPC is only Rosetta Beta available but I haven't seen any tasks for that application since years. So yes, maybe it's time to update the applications page (together with many other pages) or, if this application is indeed in use every now and than, place a note about it.

If you are searching for projects supporting PowerPC, this might help you.
