I see a badge on my Account page and I see some underneath the forum posts. The cockade you see in your profile is the default badge, default with boinc server |

Are the badge icons not showing? I see them. We are running the badge_assign.php script each day to update badge assignments. What badges? https://signature.statseb.fr/ |

I wasn't aware of badges on external sites. We are using the BOINC default badges. I'll look into this. |

We are exporting the badge data: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/stats/ so I'm not sure what we need to do to have the external statistics sites recognize and use this. |

These users are looking for custom badges for the Rosetta@home project. Does anyone have a link to boinc badge documentation that relates to the custom badges? I couldn't find anything besides the default badges listed in the wiki |

These users are looking for custom badges for the Rosetta@home project. +1 Does anyone have a link to boinc badge documentation that relates to the custom badges? I couldn't find anything besides the default badges listed in the wiki https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/BadgeDoc. You are free to create you badges For example using little blue logo top left of this page, near rosetta@home link. Milkyway@home uses not only points generated, but also years of partecipation WCG doesn't use points, but total time of computation Etcetera |

Need to - solicit opinions/suggestions and choose a base graphic image to use for the badges. - decide what credit levels will earn the various badge levels, such as 100k for the first badge, 500k for the second badge, then 1 mil, 5 mil, 10 mil, 25 mil, 50 mil. Others will offer opinions. Typically it's good to make it fairly easy to earn the basic badge, but make sure its feasible to earn higher level badges too. Don't go from 5 mil to 50 mil. I'd give up at 5 mil. - decide badge colors for the different levels like bronze at 100k, silver at 500k, gold at 1 mil, Amethyst at 5 mil, Ruby at 10 mil. (plenty of opinions will follow :) There are many different badge schemes though. You can see the different project badges and credit requirements here... https://signature.statseb.fr/ Examples of different badges... |

What type of custom badges would people like to have? As i said before, something that is related to rosetta research, like "rah_rotamer_logo_39" image in this page or "top7_alpha_white" image in home page. I think BakerLab has a lot of images about protein to use..... This is the badge page of milkyway This is the badge page of WCG (they use also "recruitment" badges) |

Seriously, what for? We are not 10 years old anymore. No need for a junior detective badge. It also slows down loading of the page and distracts from the actual content. |

Seriously, what for? We are not 10 years old anymore. No need for a junior detective badge. You're right! Why athletes participate to Olympic Games? It's just a medal. Why researchearchers dream the Nobel Medal? It's just a medal. It also slows down loading of the page and distracts from the actual content. That's true....if you have a 14.4k modem.... |

Use your current logo but change the blue out for the different badge colors. I'm not skilled enough at image editing to change colors when there are different hues and not all pixels are the same color. These sample badge colors are what SRBase uses... 10k 100k 500k 1mil 2 mil 5 mil 10 mil 20 mil 50 mil 100 mil |

Ideal bages - trophies at Skynet POGS It would be really nice to have images of different standard structural units of the protein or even whole molecules, it's not bad to have similar to GPUGrid approach, but with different drawing scheme. |
