Hi, I know this issue has happened before here and here, and now is happening again. I would like to know, why is this happening? Is there any problem with my account or is related with the rosetta's servers? As fas as I know, all servers are running so I don't understant this behaviour. Thanks a lot. |

No problem with your account. Others are seeing shortage of available work as well (note, my link is to a current post, yours were from many months ago). Here are some actions you might consider taking to avoid idle CPUs in the future. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Yes, these posts were old, I just wanted to link them because nobody answered why this happened. Is there a way to increase the tasks cache size of my PC? I can't find it in the boinc manager nor in the post you've mentioned. Thanks. |

Go to the advanced view, go to the "advanced" pulldown menu, select preferences, click the network usage tab, set the "connect to..." and "additional work buffer" settings to your desired number of days, understanding that BOINC won't be able to perfectly meet your goal, and that it can't get work if the project servers don't have any, but it will try to maintain the specified additional buffer of work.
