I am trying to attach to this project and I keep receiving an "account not found" message after entering my email address and account key as emailed to me by the project. What gives? If I switch to trying to create a new account in the wizard, it tells me the email address is already in use, which means it CAN find my account, doesn't it? In messages, it says something about "Missing account key", but I don't know from where it is missing. (FYI, I had this problem trying to also attach to Predictor, but it went away the next time I tried, and I attached to Seti without a hitch. In all cases, I used the email address and account key provided via email. This case, with Rosetta, doesn't seem to want to go away....) |

This is a bug that was hopefully fixed in V5.2.10 or so of BOINC Manager... but you can get around it without downloading the new version (usually) by going to "Your Account" off the home page, and changing your password on the website. Then when you "attach" to the project, say "existing account", and use this password instead of the account key. If that still fails... download the latest version of BOINC, currently V5.2.12. |

This is a bug that was hopefully fixed in V5.2.10 or so of BOINC Manager... My guess is the bug isn't fixed as I have that version. However, changing my password apparently did work, as I'm now registered. Thanks for the help! |

I am having the same problem. It keeps saying account not found. I have tried changing my password and I have tried the acct key. I have already updated BOINC and that hasn't helped either. Any ideas? |
