What version of BOINC are you using? I was simply using whatever package was available on the distribution in question. However I have manually installed the recommended 6.4.5 on my latest couple machines.

Post here what version you use and if you have seen much functional difference for anything 5.10+ in regard to R@H.

Also, is anyone using 6.6.29 on Linux? Is it as unstable as advertised here?

I run 6.6.28 on all my linux machines without any problems. Just noticed on the BOINC test site actually that there are no linux graphical client errors posted for this version at all.
Also see that a 6.7 client has appeared on the testing list!

I'm using 6.4.7 which is what comes packaged with Fedora 10. Sometimes the client seems to die overnight. Not real often but enough to be annoying; maybe once a week.
