I would think that almost all will. They have just learned the lesson that a second or third project is mandatory to keep BOINC crunching away, and Rosie will no doubt be part of that mix from now on.

Until Rosie lets them down as well. NO I am not thinking or even wishing ill will, just looking pragmatically. Rosie is computers, computers have issues, ie Rodie will have problems. Now like it was said earlier E@H and S@H have different expectations of achieving their goals than Rosie does. Therefore Rosie SHOULD garner more interest than either of those other projects!! Part of that problem is that EVERYONE has heard of Seti, until you start Boincing few have heard of ALL the rest of the available choices!!

Actually no. Remember that the reason that they joined Rosie was to keep BOINC running since projects are often offline for different reasons. Rosie will eventually be offline, and they will give Rosie the same lattitude that they gave the others before they joined. They will simply realise that Rosie's offline-ness is normal and not fret a wit: they have now planned ahead and are reaping the existential benefits. Life in the BOINC lane, really! :-)

To be perfectly honest, I don't mind projects being down, after all, computers do break. However, there comes a point in my mind when I draw the line, normally after my computers run out of work for 3 days straight!

I hope you'll stay. From everything I know, the science that Rosetta@home does is unequalled in the distributed computing world (very cutting edge, but also very huge potential to help reduce suffering around the world).

t flops are dropping somethings up :(

Yeah i have noticed that recently, I can't see any clear reasons why! All of my WU's are being validated and credited as normal.
The information on BOINCstats shows that credits are down quite a lot yesterday which could explain it.

SETI and Einstein are back online, and so machines with several projects are working to make up debt to them. So, their lack of work brought more machines to Rosetta temporarily exceeding their resource share. But it can also cause people to see idle CPUs and add Rosetta to their list, so new hosts are added as well. And that is part of the reason for the underlaying gradual increase in TFLOPs.

Well it was good while it lasted.

I think the Teraflops are plummeting for a different reason. I'm getting "no work sent (but there was work for other platforms)" - all of my machines are getting this message. My average is dropping fast, but I didn't do anything and the machines only run ROSETTA. Is there an upgrade that I don't know about that has to be installed manually to run new units?
