Is the new version of Minirosetta helping the FLOPS go up because it crashes less and thus more work gets through, or did we recently have an increase in the number of crunchers?

Either way, nice crunching everybody!

Well, I came back ...

Rosetta is also the Project of the Month for BOINC Synergy so many team members added machines or increased their share dedicated to the project ... thus more done ...

There were certainly people that left for a while due to problems which have now been resolved, and so they returned. There are always new users coming in, but others retiring, so that is hard to define. The improved checkpointing and reduced failure rates mean that even if everything else were constant, the productive results measured in credit and TFLOPs estimate would increase. The recent return to consistently available work, and the project of the month designation by teams have certainly also contributed to the increase.

Let's keep it going!

Whoo hoo!! It is within the sites now!

The elimination of long running models has got to be another factor too.
