Could we get a few less stickies on the Number Crunching forum? It's very hard to parse through all those and having 7 different "Q & A" threads will making new users frustrated. One FAQ thread for English, one for German. Also, old Rosetta application versions don't need to be sticky anymore once new work stops being issued (for that version). Right?

I try to "de-sticky" the version threads once any tasks under that version would have passed their 10 day deadlines.

I started a new FAQ super-structure, with just that thought in mind. But never got back to it. Please post any suggestions you have on it in that thread.

There are currently 7 stickied threads that have the following characteristics:

1) The thread gives information about the project.
2) The thread is rarely updated.
3) Normal users aren't supposed to post to the thread.

Perhaps these could be turned into a single sticky which has a list of links to all the other threads, along with enough of a description so that people will know when they need to click on the link.

Just reviewed the stickied "problems with..." threads. With 4 applications currently possible for new work, I was only able to remove one. And in another 10 days now that 1.45 is out, I can unsticky the 1.40.

OK, I appreciate your efforts to keep the forums clean. I'm sure it's a pain sometimes.
