The applications page states that the PPC platform is being phased out. Has this happened?

Hi

The Rosetta beta application supports PPC but the newer rosetta mini application doesn't. If there are Rosetta beta jobs still in circulation then you will pick up work eventually (but the scheduler isn't intelligent enough to allocate suitable work - it's hit and miss until you get lucky with suitable jobs).

Thanks for the info. Was there any reason for not supporting the PPC platform anymore? Or is it just that the old Macs are too slow? Just wondering...

The BOINC client is no longer supporting PPC for new versions.
