Hi,

does somebody know if there is a plan for an boinc-gpu client for rosetta@home ?

Might be interessting to see what a gpu can manage ? :-)

I´ve seen this for other project so maybe rosetta is also on the way ?

"Yes", some other Projects are able to utilize either the PS3 and/or gpu's.

"No", to the best of my knowledge, R@H is not presently working on a gpu client.

"Yes", if it would be practicable / feasible, then it also would be interesting to see R@H usse it.

the problem is the size of the Rosetta@home code. They're working on a new which removes much of the legacy code and is in C (I think?) rather than fortran (I think?) which will make porting to other hardware easier.

lets see a x64 bit version before thinking GPU.

G4 bit Wndows should be a cake walk.
