they said this was a test program as such, but its weird that there is no graphics for 5.96 and a blank black screen with text at the bottom for mini work. usually there are graphics even with a beta test mgr program.

any ideas?

The rosetta application uses a deprecated boinc graphics api that will not run on service installations with boinc 6+ versions because of security settings. (see http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/GraphicsApi) The minirosetta graphics use the supported graphics api but the graphics are still under development. I think mini is also having issues with the new security settings but we should be able to get them to work eventually.
