I have an old account on Rosetta at Home that has not been used for some time. Since then, I have a new PC & have set up a new account. I cannot remember the password for the old accont. Is there any way I can merge these to preserve my old credits?

No. Machines within a user account can be merged, but not two user accounts. You could either join the same team on both accounts, or recover the password of the old account and attach back to the project under that user ID.

This limitation is with the BOINC server programs and not specific to Rosetta.
