Is there a site we can go to when we have trouble downloading work to see if the servers are pumping out work?

The server status page will point out if there are any problems with the servers.

Hi.

Just about everything on the server page seems to be Disabled!

Any idea why, some warning would have been nice if possible.

Well disabled means that it has been taken offline by staff, normally for maintainence or debugging. Guess we will just have to wait. I'm worried that I may run out of tasks though, my 3 day cache is void since all of my lb* tasks are failing.

I'm sure staff will be on to it when they get to work in the morning Washington time, it's a 2.30 am there at present. I'll have enough cache to hold me through until sometime tomorrow New Zealand time. On a side note which part of Washington are the servers based in?

at least on May 19, 2009 they had put an Outage Notice message on the main page
This time however there is no notice and we do not know if the staff is aware of the situation

Which version of Boinc Manager are you using?
There has been allot of talk about the 6.6.x versions having scheduler issues.
Some of us are going back to the 6.4.7 version for windows or the previous version of the Linux flavor. Looks like computer 2 was having some troubles getting work.

The status of the server is:

Server Status as of 20 Jul 2009 0:12:29 UTC

Must be the second option. 946 ready to go out but they are coming down very slowly and only a few at a time.
