I aborted 3 tasks because they were past their deadline by half a day to three quarters of a day. I wonder if I had let them run to completion if I would have got credit for them? |

Sometimes you still get credit for them it depends on the project setup. On this project I would normally wait a few days before aborting. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

i'll keep that in mind next time I run into trouble with deadlines. Sometimes you still get credit for them it depends on the project setup. On this project I would normally wait a few days before aborting. |

> If you have gone past your dead line, just check to see if the WU has been reissued. If it hasn't and you return your result you should get the credit. If it has been reissued but you return your result before the reissued WU then you again should still get the credit. If the reissued WU comes back before you send in your WU then you miss out and get no credit. |
