I want to get the most out of my new X2. Is it still true that Rosetta doesn't use the both cores intelligently? If so, I'll dedicate this computer to F@H and then get a new machine running cheap, highly overclockable processors.

Don't know what you mean by "intelligently"...

Boinc will allow you to set the maximum number of cores/processors to be used, so Rosie can use both cores of an x2 cpu.

All other things being equal, Rosie likes alot of L2 cache. Thus, I allow my intel core2 design cpu's with the larger amounts of L2 cache to run Rosie, and my amd cpu's with the lesser L2 cache to run other projects.

I meant 'to implore it to the heights.'

I was too eager to mail, now I see two threads going on just fine, which will mean double the RAC.

I'll keep that L2 benefit in mind.
