Thanks, I see that they are 5.89.

Leonzio, According to the records. It shows you're reported 14 wus, 10 of them were done with 5.89 without error, two were done with 5.90 and both had errors, and two were 5.91 and one you aborted and the other you returned successfully. So, if it's a 5.89, it'll probably run just fine.

here's more info on your returned work:

It's very interesting that a WU well done is a "5.90". :-)
What is the link from which [OT: "from which" is it correct?] is token that image?

Leonzio, I have software to extract and calculate that data. I input a host ID number and run it. It fills in the rest.

PM me if you have MS excel and give your email addy, I'll send you a copy of the software (note: it has trouble with Office 2007).

tony

I understand, and I thank you.
Astro, I remember you that the my computer OS is a Linux 64 bit.
I bought Windows XP and Office 2003 years ago, and I use them only on my notebook, when I work in archives and libraries. When I was young I loved the computer science and I programmed in "C", but I preferred as my life job to study some economic and political aspects in late Middle Ages (about XI-XIV century) Italy, my country. ;-)
I dislike MS softwares, as all other closed softwares, and however they cost too many money: Linux costs about 100 €, or 200 too, Windows and Office about 1000... -.-

The link at this WU:
https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=116854959
Well, There isn't the version.

Ahh, I see..... We won't be able to see the version until the wu is finished and returned. Only YOU can see what version Boinc will use to run that WU. If you're using a gui boinc manager, then it should show up under "application" in the "tasks" tab. If it says 5.90 then I'd just abort it and any others listed as 5.90, then they'll issue you 5.91 wus.

Thanks, I see that they are 5.89.

if they give you problems i think it is the best to abort them, and wait for some 5.91's

I am going to give it another shot. I just got some 5.91 WUs and I'll let them run to see if I get any more errors.

I also have recently received multiple "computation error" results which also brought up the WinXP "Report this problem" window when a program crashes. Happened on two different machines on two different networks.

I had the exact same thing with resultid=128948581, though it's the only one I've had in months. It did happen today like yours.

Hey guys try a copy of memtest86 on CD for 9.95 + shipping and know your memory is good then /or download a copy of orthos http://www.overclock.net/downloads/138142-orthos-v20060420.html

if it errors out your double precision math ie your memory/machine can't handle the speed ( in my case I went from 3.4 to 3.33 ) I also have 2 1 gig sticks that will intermitanly crap out sometimes its ok just start a test[ blend - stress cpu and ram ] if it will run sometimes and not the other bad ram or slow it down a click at the time ....... makes for smoother crumching and the flacky ram well its going back on an RMA also 30 min test are plenty I let BOINC run during the test as well just do several a day for several days and see how you fair TEAM Highland Outreach

Of course it is free
