hi

iam going on holiday next week and i wont be comeing back untill late feb next year.

so how do i get enough work to crunch untill then?
i have adjested the the how often do you connect to the network and put that for 10 days, and get enough work for a further 10 days. so thats 20 days not nearly enough work.

however when i put that and upadated by bonic i only got enough work for 2 days, i did early wedendsay, and my work is now all finshed.

is their some way that i can get enough work for the whole period of time cos iam going to be leaving on three computers so iam have only one connnection so iam going to give it to my fastest computer but their is another two more computers that need work.

it does't have to just for this project cos if i can only get enough work for 20 days can i add and another project so thata 40 then another for 60 days?

also why is my bonic requesting 0 secounds of work?

the deadlines are two weeks here - so loading the computers up with work isn't going to be of use. Can you share the internet connection with either a router or a hub? Or USB networking into the connected PC perhaps?

dont have a router, i got hub thats no use scince that has to be connected to a router to work. i have no clue what USB networking is.

but FAH has 50 day deadlines right? i think that should be just enough days. so if can keep my computer busy for 50 days it should be enough

Folding@home isn't a BOINC project (at least to my knowlegde). How about attaching to climateprediction.net? Their work units last about half a year (depending on crunching speed)...

From your posts I guess you don't have a permanent Internet connection, right?

you can just set up internet connection sharing on the connected PC and use the hub to share it. You don't need a router.

How does your PC connect to your modem? USB or Ethernet? If USB, assuming you have a spare ethernet socket on the connected PC?

i really dont want to run climatepriction on my computer i personal think its a waste it time. and i dont like the way reserch is being done its not useing all the computers power collectivly just letting each computer run their model on 100s of computers then compare how each one came out. so its pretty much the same work unit
