Well that was interesting -- Rosetta was flat offline for about 6 hours -- back up now -- but no indication that anyone else noticed.

The back-end fileserver had crashed - kernel panic. I've just returned from a quick run to campus to reboot that server...

Ah -- OK -- thanks for the explanation -- and thanks for doing the Sunday run in to bring it back up.

Stats export doesn't seem to have run since then. Does this need a kick too?

Looks like another three to four hours downtime. Hope that's not a repeat of the fileserver panic. I've been there enough times to know that flaky hardware is never a good thing.

We seem to have a lot of "bug thread" stickies for versions of Rosetta that haven't been used in a long time and which will never be used again.

I think that un-sticking these old threads would reduce the clutter.

Thanks for pointing that out AMD. I've unstickied the old versions.

When I click on Results in the main Rosetta@home web page, I get the Active Work Units web page instead of a page showing only my results.

Right, and the columns that say "user" rather then "all users" are how your numbers look. Then if you click on one of the WUs, it will show your reported results as compared to the rest.

If you want to see your tasks page, then click the link for "[Participants]" on top of this message board. Then click the "view" link that follows "tasks".

Stats export hasn't run for 3 or 4 days. Did some server process stop?

When I try to change my email address on this website, it says "Invalid password" every time. I obviously logged onto this site with this password but it doesn't work there.

(I posted this message also here but didn't get a response.)
