I need to replace my graphics card because my new MoBo has PCIe 16, and my current one AGPx8, so it doesn't fit. I don't play games or do anything graphics intense, (I watch the odd film but thats all). I may want to run Vista at some point, (not now). My current card, if it fitted, would be fine, (I think it is a 9250 based Club 3D model). I don't want to spend a fortune on something I'll never need, and I'd rather have one without a fan. Is there anything that is really good, conversly, is there anything I should really avoid? Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Anything will do you, no idea of the prices in Denmark, but the GeForce 7xxx el-cheapo fanless would easily fit your requirments. Or AMD el-cheapo one's http://www.komplett.dk/k/kl.aspx?mfr=&bn=10488&sortBy=p&minprice=&maxPrice= Any of the ~kr300 with no fan would do. I prefer the NVIDIA but it's up to you. Team mauisun.org |

Cheers, I figured that was probably the case. That site you linked is a bit expensive. Anyone buying in Denmark should check out edbpriser.dk to get a comparative list and cheapest available. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Well I'm UK and they're not to bad for the price (though we do tend to pay more than a lot of places, I changed it to the .dk address, lol.). Good service and quicker (& better) delivery than most the UK online shops which use really bad couriers. (Especialy since Komplett ship from somewhere over in EU land) Team mauisun.org |
