It's ONLY BEEN a YEAR and a HALF.

Where are the graphics for the Linux Client????

One problem they have now is since they havn't made them work yet under linux, it may not be worth bothering with until the next BOINC 6.x version since 6.x has plans to use a different style of graphcis setup.

Of course it would be nice to have.

We'll revisit the potential for a linux graphics version when we start working on the changes required for the next big boinc release FluffyChicken is talking about. We haven't added the graphics version because it would only work on newer linux versions due to graphics library dependencies and the fact that rosetta will not build using older versions of gcc (3.3 and older) necessary for graphics on older linux versions. Sorry for the long wait and late response. I guess one option may be to provide a version that people can set up and run on newer linux versions through an anonymous platform if they are motivated enough to do so.
