I wasn't clear exactly what the question was, perhaps some of our Italian users can offer some help.

I am trying to understand if you want your computer to do work while it is idle, or if you want it to STOP doing work while it is in use.

Go to the Advanced view.
Click the "Activity" menu item.
select "run based on preferences"

Is that what you needed? This will use your General Preferences to determine when BOINC actively runs on your computer.
