i've seen that a WU not completed will be completely restarted (from 0%) next time i switch my pc on.. I don't think this should be the right way ..i have my preferences setted to" write to disk every 60 seconds". maybe some problems with MAC?

You have your preference set to write "*at most*" every 60 seconds. The project writes checkpoints when possible to preserve work completed prior to the end of the model. Some types of work units write more frequently then others. You will always lose some work when you turn off the machine. The amount of work lost is being reduced over time with revisions to the Rosetta application.

What you are reporting is not specific to MAC.
