Hi !!

I wonder if any of you know if BIONIC 5.8.16 use any of the CPU´s extensions with my current AMD 64 3200+ (MMX (+), 3DNow! (+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, x86-64)...or is there a "tweak" so BIONIC can use these to speed things up...?

Regards

it's the project programs that do the work (in this case rosetta_xxx.exe) rather than boinc.exe, and so optimising boinc to use the extensions makes little or no difference to the throughput. Optimising rosetta to use the extensions is unfortunately not a trivial task as there's over 1m lines of code! There were a few people looking into it I believe (Mats Petersson & Who? and possibly others) but I don't know if they got anywhere...
