Hi there,

I have a dual-core AMD Athlon 64 FX60 and I'm wondering why on General Preferences it says, "On multiprocessors, use at least: 16 processors."
It seems some people have problems getting BOINC to work with multiple CPUs/cores, so why's mine already set at 16? I certainly didn't set it that way!

The default setting was increased due to increasing core counts. It won't use more cores than you actually have on any given PC.

Also, is that 16 limit per computer, or per user ID?
Cheers
