Hi there.

I was trying to run the client on my xbox linux setup but the standard xbox has only 64meg of ram and rosetta moans and says I need 95mb. Is there a work around for this or would it be quicker to get the soldering iron out ?
Ps. Boinc runs fine.

I have the same problem.
Seti would run fine, even though their servers are currently down, so I really cant tell if the calculation will run.

Would be great to have a memory-down-sized version of it.

I think, that if the application is set to 96 MB memory, the application would use this 96 MBs - including a reserve for the OS and BOINC client of course. If you have low memory, the system will page out the memory to the harddisk, and so the complete system performance breaks down.
I think, it is the best to crunch a project with low memory requriements. There is a list of the hardware requirements at the BOINC Wiki :

Yes, we do. In fact we have the most responsive forums of any BOINC project. And when people post asking questions about things we have never indicated we expect to work, we depend upon other knowledgeable users such as your self to assist them when possible. If you can't assist... don't post.

Yeah, I am assisting, by moving this post to the top of the board where other people will see that nothing is being done.

In the future, if you wish to move a post, please just add the text of "bump" rather then SCREAMING IN CAPITAL LETTERS, and insulting those of us that work hard to help this project.

We all get the idea from a simple "bump" that you agree with the request, and that it is still an outstanding issue.
