24" iMac, OS 10.4.9, 2 Gb RAM In the past four days my average work done has dropped in half. Is this an isolated incident or are others finding similar problems? |

The other possibility is that you've got WUs waiting for memory. Check your general preferences and reconfirm max number of CPUs BOINC may use, and % of memory and CPU that BOINC is allowed. Do you run other BOINC projects? If so then double check that you say YES to leave applications in memory while suspended. The recent tasks sent by Rosetta tend to need more time to reach a checkpoint then was more common prior to that. This is why enhancing the checkpointing is coming to the forefront on the wish list.
