Hi there I started using my old desktop PC for running Rosetta and now there is a problem with the current work unit. Because the PC hasdn't run for a long time there was a problem with the CMOS and I had the wrong date. Now the current work unit expires on the 13th of December 1901(!) and the client tells me that I might not get credits for this unit. Do I have to abort the unit? |

The ACTUAL expiry date is maintained on the server. Your client was attempting to display it in the timezone local to your PC. Your computers are hidden, but if you go to your results page, you will see the expiry date the server has established relative to GMT. No, no need to abort. Just set your local time properly to avoid same problem on next task downloaded. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
