-- Hello: I had a TCP connection drop on a remote machine. The result was that the boinc client exited a bit ungracefully. After I restarted I got my first error and , unfortunately took the "Project reset" message to heart. I reset the project without backing up the files as they sat. I now have ~5 tasks in my list that I no longer have data for. I suspect that BOINC is designed to handle these things with the 'deadline' feature, but, is there any other way to restart or resend the missing jobs???... Or do I just wait for them to go 'overdue' ???? It's just that I feel so incomplete with those pending jobs sitting in the queue.... (Oh well, I will get over it, but...).... Update:: I just read the post :: Re-download the same work unit.. (in Wish List)... It did'nt seem pertinent to read a wish list before asking, but, in this case it would have been.. This post may be deleted or left as you see fit. In any case, I think I have my answer... :: It's not possible at the present time. Looking for a team ??? Join BoincSynergy!! |
