fancy coffee drinks here are better and cheaper than starbucks and include free entertainment, watching proteins dance.

reality, as my profile says and i will always say, to find a way to beat cancer at its own game. Mother in law died recently of abdominal/bone cancer after fighting with it with experimental and conventional therapy.

I started with Seti and still do some but I thought this would be more worthwhile. It has a chance that it will do great good for medical research. I have four computers crunching, two are dedicated soley to Rosetta

Girls are wild over guys that crunch Rosetta.

It's true.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.

Re-reading this post reminds me of how we can let righteous indignation override our better selves and how we contribute to the world.

I think for me, if something could have been different in my life... When I was 16 or so, I finally wanted to learn my grandparents story. The thought was that it would mostly be good to know. By then, my grandfather suffered from dementia so I really couldn't get much out of him (maybe the swinging light bulb frightened him?). One time when he was sleeping, he said "640, that's where it all started." I really wish that was the start to some grand American tale and that 640 was the address of where he grew up. When he woke, he ignored me when I asked about 640.

Maybe it was the start time to a classified mission in World War II?

In all seriousness, it would be nice if we no longer had Alzheimer's so the old could have more time to pass their stories on to the young.

lets not forget parkinsons, that robbed my grandad on my mothers side of his functionality and his story telling.
