I've setup a new PC running windows 10 64 bit, all the work units end after around 15 secs with message computation error. I must tried about 100 work units over the last week. Anybody got any ideas what is wrong. Cheers Martin |

Anybody got any ideas what is wrong. While it's not unusual to get the occasional error, all of your Tasks have the same error. ERROR: Cannot find database file: 'minirosetta_databasechemicalring_conformer_sets/5-membered_aromatic_ring_conformers.data'Are you using a 3rd party AV programme? If so, whitelist the BOINC data directories. Run the Error checking test on the drive that is storing the data files to make sure there is no file system or drive corruption. Once that is done, Reset the Project- that will delete everything in the Project directories, and download them all from scratch. That should replace any files that are missing due to your AV programme. If it's not files system or drive corruption, or the AV programme & resetting the Project doesn't fix it then it's back to the usual fault finding work- Prime 95 & a hardware monitoring programme to check the CPU & it's temperature, use Windows Memtest to check the memory, check the PSU voltages etc- although i can't see how any of those would have caused the loss of some files. But you never know. Grant Darwin NT |

Doing a reset seems to have fixed the problem, don't know why I didn't think to do it, perhaps cause this is a new setup. I did add the project through BOINCstatsBam!. Anyway thanks. Martin |
