Hi! I was running the following workunits. All have a similar duration, but the credits differ considerably (almost factor 10). What reasons could there be for this? 06f9f92e_fold_SAVE_ALL_OUT_951790_192 1088397973 30 Jun 2020, 11:19:39 UTC 2 Jul 2020, 8:35:40 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 28,815.85 28,562.68 626.82 rep465_0081_symC_reordered_0001_propagated_0001_0001_0001_0001_A_v15_relax_SAVE_ALL_OUT_952696_6 1088397719 30 Jun 2020, 11:19:39 UTC 2 Jul 2020, 8:35:40 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 29,076.02 28,823.88 475.31 tgfbR2_1_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_6sh6ka7q_951704_1 1088397925 30 Jun 2020, 11:19:39 UTC 2 Jul 2020, 10:28:10 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 28,903.14 28,820.16 66.91 bmpr1_attempt3_2_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_2cc3tr8a_951187_1 1088397751 30 Jun 2020, 11:19:39 UTC 2 Jul 2020, 8:29:06 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 29,106.99 28,899.74 67.38 I look forward to receiving answers, Sebastian ______ AuthenticAMD AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor [Family 23 Model 113 Stepping 0] Linux Ubuntu Ubuntu 20.04 LTS [5.4.0-39-generic|libc 2.31 (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.31-0ubuntu9)] |

All Rosetta@home tasks have the same target runtime of 8 hours (= 28 800 s). In that time, different tasks perform different amounts of work (running different modelling scenarios, using different starting parameters, …) which means they are awarded different amounts of credit. |

It also takes a while for the Credit for new a type of Task to stabilise; generally once you've done a dozen or or so of a new type, the Credit awarded will be less variable & more inline with other Tasks done previously. Grant Darwin NT |

You are right! I've got two more work units of the same type as above, but now they were granted much better. bmpr1_attempt3_1_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_4au3hv3c_951182_1_0 1090293536 4 Jul 2020, 13:44:42 UTC 5 Jul 2020, 5:01:12 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 29,463.52 28,681.66 541.32 tgfbR2_2_SAVE_ALL_OUT_IGNORE_THE_REST_0ku6fl4r_951849_1_0 1089993993 3 Jul 2020, 21:57:52 UTC 4 Jul 2020, 21:51:35 UTC Fertig und Bestätigt 29,521.18 28,718.83 542.38 Greetings from Lower Saxony, Germany, Sebastian |
