As I've said before, my main concern is that it taints the results. Any results reported out of Rosetta@home have to be replicated because it all feels like preliminary work. I agree completely. Rosetta is a fine, long standing, professional project providing a valuable resource to the scientific community. Yes, we can definitely improve our communication with the R@h community significantly. There seems to be a lull in the lab regarding posting more about the research and currently new jobs to be submitted. This typically means researchers are quite busy working in the wet lab or working on producing the next batch to run. It is not uncommon for some researchers to work day and night, and through the weekend. |

To get back on topic, a whole load of Rosetta tasks have become available in the last 30 minutes. Grab them while you can. |

This is starting to resemble GPUGRID far as available work units go. I guess I could always keep my machines busy doing LHC@home, and try to iron out the VBox errors. |

I guess I could always keep my machines busy doing LHC@home, and try to iron out the VBox errors. TN-Grid is an easy backup project. http://gene.disi.unitn.it/test/ |

I guess I could always keep my machines busy doing LHC@home, and try to iron out the VBox errors. Thanks! Always looking for more biological projects like Rosetta and WCG. Just joined there as well. |

I guess I could always keep my machines busy doing LHC@home, and try to iron out the VBox errors. Go to a page like this one and click on someones name and then the Cross Project Identifier number to see the Projects they are running, you will get an idea of what the top crunchers are running. Most have run all the Projects at some point and it's also an easy way to see which ones are still active. Not ALL active Projects show up on the list when you click to add a Project in Boinc. https://stats.free-dc.org/boincusers |

Lot of download errors It appears that there is something seriously wrong with you Internet. They are downloaded and completed by other people. I practically never get download errors. |

Lot of download errors Thanks for your interest, please take into account that the quantity of units you download by day is very low compared with me. If you check the top cruncher hosts you will find a lot of download errors in almost every one. So, I do not think it is my internet connection, not only mine at least :). |

It depends on which of your machines you are referring to. One of them does well enough, but this one has a high download error rate: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?hostid=3593926 The "top crunchers" may have other problems, and I don't think are relevant. If they were, then your top machine would have the most problems. |
