We had a member at FAD who was kind and courteous to provide the project with info on protein targets for various diseases. After the closure of the project the posts can not be made at its forum. They have been moved to the FaDBeens forum. Please check the posts under the username jean to see this info. http://www.fadbeens.co.uk/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=14 Thanks. |

When my problems with migration from think (that allowed I dual boot linux-windows) while crunching, to boinc (that only allow at maximum dual boot of different windows versions) where resolved, I'll continue identifying targets ... Now, I hope, targets that does not have a crystal structure with enough resolution , can have that crystal structure determined from nmr structures or from aminoacid sequences, using "roseta" Click signature for global team stats |

When my problems with migration from think this is our goal--to be able to predict structures accurately enough that they can be used to design new drugs--but rosetta isn't good enough yet. that is why our efforts are currently focused on improving the method. |

I wasn't aware that had been done, and was talking to Keith about whether they could be moved! Good news, anyway. I did a search for caroline jean jean1 here http://www.fadbeens.co.uk/phpBB2/ However only find caroline new posts, under jean or jean1 nickname What I am asking is for the hundreds of old posts that caroline made while at FaD ... and I identified viable drug targets for more than half of them ... with pdb id at www rscb org and resolution less than 2 angstrons, that Keith did not crunched for some reason. Where are that posts ? IF u know, please post actual URL that is the url of the place where that old posts was moved to Thanks Click signature for global team stats |

Is it possible to automate the download process of her posts. How about using these programs to download them: Offline browsers: http://www.httrack.com/ http://www.maximumsoft.com/ |

Nec has posted his proposals on how to save "Caroline's stuff" and make it available for posterity here on the FaDBeens boards: http://www.fadbeens.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=7735#7735 Comments are cordially invited - as long as they are nice and complimentary (joke). |

Evil Chairman Nec waved his magic wand after a beer or two last night, and all "Caroline's FAD stuff" is now available on a compressed RAR file, 1.85 MB. Downloading info here: http://www.fadbeens.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=248 Anyone willing to provide a secondary downloading site please say so ASAP. Carlos? Proxima ? (Nec is famous for accidentally deleting everything except his own posts.) |

Yep, I'm more than happy to store it on my web site for backup/download purposes. I'll talk to Nec on FadBeens, and if we go for that, I'll let you know where I put it... Thanks for all the work, anyone who was involved in this, anyway. Alver Valley Software Ltd - Contributing ALL our spare computing power to BOINC, 24x365. |

http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2006-03/hhmi-csh031006.php Here's the kind of news that reminds me of Caroline's posts. After Casp 7, perhaps they'll use Rosetta or FaD's clients to generate molecules that will block those receptors. (For drug resistant Aids). |
