Just took a look at the productivity that has come from the immense increase in compute resources joining Rosetta@Home in the past couple of months. Month to date May is shaping up to be the highest productivity month for Rosetta@Home ever. To put it into perspective, we have collectively crunched/generated more BOINC credits so far this month than the entire first Quarter of 2009, or the entire first 8 months of 2007 combined! |

That's really cool! Just took a look at the productivity that has come from the immense increase in compute resources joining Rosetta@Home in the past couple of months. Month to date May is shaping up to be the highest productivity month for Rosetta@Home ever. |

Any idea on what's caused this recent spike? |

Charity Engine has been filling any gaps in their subscribed compute work with Rosetta work units. They automatically enroll the user in R@h and issue work requests. These users all have a "ce" and a number as their user name. This appears to have brought several thousand new users per day to R@h for several weeks at a time. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
