Sorry for being rude but this is pissing me hard. I am trying to get to somebody from Rosetta for YEARS. Is it the same everywhere, scientists living in their own world not giving a damn about anything else? The whole project seems to be like run by a bunch of amateurs - no contact ANYWHERE, it is like you just set it up years ago and FORGOT about it, just taking ppls compute power without even thinking it is not coming from vacuum and without ANY interest WHATSOEVER. Is it so hard to make CONTACT page and make somebody responsible for talking to the rest of the world? Ppl being able to contact you should be ALWAYS THE PRIMARY interest. You are screwed in todays world if ppl cannot talk to you, see? I tried that guy who is supposedly responsible for team transfer, I NEVER got ANY reply. They confirmed he exists and his e-mail is valid on the university. Yet nothing. I tried few supposed project admins here via PM too, NO REPLY. My team leader is lost for YEARS, project webpage is not working for YEARS, I have no idea whats wrong with him and frankly, I don't care. I want to take over it and do something, even now when I see how you piss on your donors. But hold on! YOU TURNED THAT BLOODY TEAM TRANSFER OPTION OFF!! I may even get you MORE ppl and MORE compute power for the project, aha? So this is how you care about ppl giving you their compute power even though they suffer from the heat during summer? As long as government is giving money, you live your private universe? Just great, really. And yeah, don't forget to be ultra hypocrites and delete this post for some wannabe break of rules and prove you are no use to care about your donors… |

Whoa man... You're obviously upset but, have you tried posting a simple forum post without all the drama? Good luck on getting this fixed though. |

I think I have asked years ago as well, obviously I got nowhere. But as you are now up to only 2 forum posts you have not asked on the forum before. Unless you have switched accounts? A few of the project team members keep an eye on the forum and, if they don't see this thread directly, the forum moderator should be able to flag your message for someone to take a look at. I have no idea whether you will get the answer you want but you should at least get a reply within a few days. |

But as you are now up to only 2 forum posts you have not asked on the forum before. Unless you have switched accounts? I have over 200 posts here (and over 300 on Ralph@home), so i'm not a troll. The lack of comunication of this project is a real problem. |

...And yeah, don't forget to be ultra hypocrites and delete this post for some wannabe break of rules and prove you are no use to care about your donors… Do you know how long it's been since I've had to delete a post on R@h? I resent the implication that I am overzealous at deleting posts. I've sent an EMail to DK asking he look in to it. I see no posts on the boards here on Rosetta with the details of the team transfer you are concerned about. Is the team on R@h? or on Ralph? It would be helpful if you would post the project and team details and user ID number of the account you wish to have own the team. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Yep, you all are correct. Communication is lacking. Sorry about that. We'll try to improve but I have to admit it's a struggle to get scientists in the group to provide continuous feedback. And yes, often times leadership transfer requests slip by me. Please re-send your requests to my dekim at u dot washington dot edu address. My only explanation is they may have been junk filtered so I'll be sure to look out for them. I just need the team id and your id. I will only do the transfer if the current leader is indeed inactive. |
