--Set project to no new tasks. Will use up the tasks I have and then reset and see if it helps.

I've just replied to a similar query on the Minirosetta 3.52 thread. Have you tried all the normal fixes suggested in the BOINC FAQs?

could have been throttling, but that never affected the other 5 projects I run, so it could be a Rosie problem again. set stuff back to 0 and see how my system responds as I was getting some significant delays. Could have been the GPU project I am running as well.

Except that I've NEVER seen it except on Rosetta in almost 13 years of crunching. AND only appears on Rosetta right now.

Be glad that you have been lucky enough not to see it elsewhere then. A quick google search finds this report from earlier this month about the same problem at SETI@home. As I said, it is a BOINC issue, not a rosetta specific issue.

It is a bug with an unknown cause. As more people report symptoms it becomes easier to give a correct diagnosis and suggested treatment. Also BOINC has developed a lot over the years; what may have been a correct treatment with BOINC version 4 might not be the best treatment today.
