7/29/2010 11:07:17 PM rosetta@home Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
7/29/2010 11:07:17 PM rosetta@home Requesting new tasks

Consistantly receiving above error. Other machines on same network are working fine. Resetting project has no affect.

Anyone else have this server side problem?

If other machines on your network are okay then it is not a server side problem. Have you installed or upgraded any anti-virus/firewalls on the machine recently?

An "HTTP internal server error" would certainly appear to be a server side problem. However, it is possible the error does not accurately reflect the problem. As Murasaki suggests, some firewalls or virus protection programs can be configured to block download of executables, and so everything seems to go ok and files come down, but not the actual .exe files that run the application on Windows.

Does the projects directory in your BOINC data path have .exe's in it?

Normally just exiting BOINC and all science applications and then restarting them clears this error for me! No idea what causes it on my network.

Exiting BOINC & restarting solved it -- rather unsettling!

same old firewall & virus. even disabled both firewall & virus without any change. Repeating my post below, exiting & restarting BOINC resolved issue for unkown reason.

If the Boinc program itself got the website messed up it won't go to the right place until you either upgrade to a different version of Boinc or stop and restart it. Normally it just works but in your case it did not, I am glad it is working again though!
