https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/workunit.php?wuid=309383381 This is one of those units that was supposed to only run for 2 hours, model 0 was done around 3 hours, and it went on and did the whole unit. And in the end, with running to the end (regardless of preferences settings), the credits it granted were only like 38, instead of the 64. ![]() ![]() |

The task you mention actually completed 92 "decoys" (i.e. "models" is the term I try to stick with). The short answer to your question about credit is "because others reported completed models with less claimed FLOPs then you reported"). This is the "luck" element you often see discussed. ...why did this one from the same machine get more credit then claimed? ..."because others reported completed models with more claimed FLOPs then you reported" Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
