I can not understand this illogical behavior or RAH RAC.
No matter how many days I have had of granted credit being greater than claimed credit my graph keeps showing a drop. I have brought this up before and got some answers, but I still do not understand this.

Is RAH RAC different that say einstein's version?
Are these new tasks creating a different amount of credit?

On 15 june i was at a high of around 920 pts RAC, since then it has continued to drop and drop to a low of 757 pts (aprox) on 30 june and then climbs back up a bit and starts to drop 40 points on the chart today.

this is really quite irritating to say the least.

Claimed credit has absolutely no relationship to RAC. RAC is an average of your granted credit over a period of time.

I have taken a look at your BOINC stats page. According to BOINC stats you have received a total of 5601 points over the last 7 days. Your 7-day RAC would therefore come out at 5601/7 = 800.14

Looking further back, your total for the last 14 days is 10,468. Your 14-day RAC would therefore come out at 10,468/14 = 747.71

Rosetta has your RAC pegged at 760 on this forum, while BOINC stats has the Rosetta RAC set at 775. The difference may be down to the frequency of updates on this forum and on BOINC stats.

BOINC stats' own calculation of your R@H RAC is 768. The difference here is caused by BOINC stats using a 60 day average while Rosetta's internal RAC is averaged over a shorter period.

The only way to boost your RAC is to complete more work.

despite completing two tasks (running 3 projects) with totals of 121 and 127 points in granted credit, my RAC has dropped from the 770 range to the upper 730 range. this is stupid!

40 points in a day loss average while in real time i gained 228.
when looking back at all my tasks, i have always with the exception of one task (1 point under claimed)had a greater amount of granted than claimed credit. so if i run a positive average of say 5-10 points positive amount over claimed credit per day, shouldn't my line be moving up instead of down?

how do i drop from your amount of 760 points at 4am UTC to 736 at 9pm UTC on the same day, when there is always a positive number value over claimed credit?

this is illogical

*edit - i just sent two more tasks in and gained 8 points on the RAC, but the line is still heading down*

I say again. There is no relationship between claimed credit and your RAC.

If your granted credit is above your current RAC then your RAC will go up. If your granted credit is below your RAC then your RAC will go down.

Your RAC was 760. Your granted credit for the last 24 hours according to BOINC stats was 125. As 125 is less than 760 you can expect your RAC to drop.

If you managed to do 800 credits of work in 24 hours you would see your RAC rise from the 760 mark.

ahh! thanks..thats about as simple as it gets.
so i suppose the peak i had in rah was due to einstein going offline and rosie picking up a ton of work. ralph didnt have anything either. now that both are online and taking cpu time i guess the rah rac will drop?

Yes, of course. But your RAC in the other projects will go up.
