Per chance I had a look at the BOINC-Mgr on my machine Ta18 and let display the statistik in the average view, when I noticed a decline from about 64 (2008-11-08) to 50 (2008-11-28).

My habits how to use my computer didn't change.

Could it be that my processor gets slower?

I don't think a CPU slows down over time..

read this article from boinc wiki about RAC

there are allot of factors involved, but simply put it is how much credit you get per task and then that grand total over a defined period of time affects how the RAC graph looks. I can not find a thread where I asked this same question, but this is about as simple as I can put it.

some tasks are better suited to some computer architectures. For example, the current abinito tasks might be better suited to machines with a large cache while other jobs might not be so fussy. If you got a few of these jobs on a machine with a smaller cache then you'll notice a hit compared to the gains you'll find on other tasks. It's not just the cache that's important though - but it's probably the most critical factor in credit variation.
