Busy attending MLA annual conference in Wash DC... fancy schmancy dinner the other night in G'town... nice neighborhood, wish i could afford it... they're giving away swag at conference, so you can see that it wasn't my refrigerator that was running away, but rather my "wind-up walking brain," lol !!! on my way to NY tonight... Am I at 1M with Rosie yet? (999,950!) YES you made it!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps did you sign up to be a blogger for the conference? G'town is nice but can get quite rowdy during Friday and Saturday and any excuse for a party nights. Too many people, too much drinking and the residents will call the cops in a heartbeat! It is fun on Halloween though, everyone puts on costumes and 'barhops' all night long. The residents think because they paid ALOT of money for their homes they run the place. They bought there for the ambiance but then want to change it because the ambiance doesn't stop when they want to sleep! LOTS of college kids go there and kids that used to be in college! Some under-age kids but mostly 20 somethings or older. During the day alot of the Business people go there to see or be seen. You can often see alot of the Washington elite having lunch or dinner in G'town. DC is still trying to rid itself of the topless places though, 10 minutes from G'town you can find several topless places, of both sexes! Some not very classy AT ALL!! ID: 66338 · Rating: 0 · rate:

congrats Thanks to everyone. I used to run Rosie, you see that by my total numbers, but I only ever got it to run on a Linux machine, never on my Windows machines. EVERYONE tried to help me, I even got the files emailed to me but I never could get it to work except under Linux. if all else fails: format c: and del *.* I actually tried that along the way, it didn't help. No one could figure it out, it was just a gremlin and would not go away. I was using XP Pro at the time and right now only 2 machines still have that, all the rest are win7 machines or a server. As I said though I am currently crunching elsewhere, just having fun here.
