Brussels on the way to the statue you will find quite a few places that do waffles, some pretty fancy others just plain. now if you come back and eat at a fries shop, then you have to have your fries in a point bag with mayonnaise on top. then you have had true belgian fries. can you ask them to do it again?! we'd definitely come back for that, and some more waffles! I have a friend that is a Linux genius and I will have to ask him about this, seems to me if you format the drive on a working PS3, and then put it back in the PS3 you want it to be in, then you would get around the inability to load the OS problem. I have several Linux machines I use once in a while here at home and if I move the hard drive from one machine to another it just downloads the updates and configures itself and runs just fine in the new machine. Even if the original machine was an Intel cpu and I put the hard drive in an AMD cpu machine, it works just fine. Am I under-thinking the problem here? ID: 66281 · Rating: 0 · rate: /

Even GeoHot's PS3 exploit, which allegedly triggered Sony's decision to kill off Linux, is analogous to breaking into a bank. Its a good start, but now you still have to break into the safe. The PS3 MUST run the GameOS, you can't just put a Linux hard drive into it. All sorts of firmware and crypto to ensure this. @Greg - Don't know what to recommend. I just use MS's built-in stuff.
