if you want distance, then you have to strap on to a rocket or stow away in the wheel well or cargo hold of a 747.

While you are feeling the cold over in Belgium here in Wales we have been having a extraordinary warm phase. Today we were walking in the hills in shirt sleeves instead of our usual cold weather gear. I gather that this is due to warm air blowing up from the tropics though this is due to change in a few hours. Looking at the latest weather radar images there is heavy rain approaching from Ireland. Back to normal!

looks like all of the UK and the surrounding area are getting pounded with rain.
we will get the outer tail of that storm later today it looks like, but probably only a few hours worth of rain. at least that's what it looks like on the radar.

That is why soooo many people have trouble with vacation planning places and want to do it themselves. Although in alot of cases the vacation planning places can deal with problems MUCH better!! Good luck on getting it all sorted out and I hope the trip is back on SOON!!

Oh man that is a long time to leave the bags packed!! Well at least you will have the chance to unpack them and then rethink what to take or not take. I created a list on the computer many years ago and still use it now. The list started after a couple of problematic Boy Scout campouts with the kids. It makes life easier for me, no last minute did I bring this, turn off that, etc. Good luck and in the meantime keep crunching!
