On one of my 2 desktop machines ( 2.8 pentium 4 i gig memory) Boinc and Rosetta runs flawlessly. On the other 2.8 pentium 4 768K) i have problems. Boinc manager freezes if left in taskbar or onscreen. It will NOT update. Say i find it stuck at 10% and exit BOINC and return to find it at 60% THEN within seconds the WU goes back to zero. Not being able to conveniently check progress is driving me nuts. Please advise. Note using Rosetta 5.9 with Boinc 5.10.30

Any time you restart a task, it takes a few (15 or so?) seconds to "get it's wits about it" and then it will update the progress indicator. It basically has to use that time to restore the last checkpoint that was taken. If the progress indicator then went back to zero, it means that task had not reached a checkpoint yet at the time it was ended.
