Since the project updated my Dell Inspiron laptop ( 2.8 Ghz) wont download work. It has only 512 meg of ram and no fiddling with preferences will let it use virtual memory, that I have found at least. Must I retire the machine pending a memory upgrade?

the minimum is still 256 mb of memory, but last time there was something with the sceduler, the program that sends out work, it seemed to send out verry little "low memory" tasks. it says it is fixed again, so i guess you should get work again.
