I have a server that is currently not in use, which I have BOINC and a couple of projects running on. (Rosetta and QMC). Currently, it is running Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise (32 bit) with SP2. Would I gain anything by going with 64 bit Windows in regards to crunching Rosetta? I don't think the client is made for 64 bit correct? Also, the server is running 8 GB of RAM, so that is why it is currently running Enterprise in 32 bit, since the app that was on it didn't do 64 bit. Thanks, J.G. |

You wouldn't loose anything if you went 64bit BOINC, Rosetta would still run fine. Though you wouldn't gain anything for Rosetta either. Team mauisun.org |
