I've a '65 Ford with a 352 in Missouri. I've done quite a bit of work to it; including junking the stock Autolite 2100 (still haven't figured out why Ford decided to choke the motor with a two barrel) and putting an Edelbrock 600 with around 5% increase to the jets, changed to electronic ignition (points blow...) and a MSD Blaster coil, etc., etc. All that is left to do is refurbish the interior and re-paint the body. It had a 9 inch 3.89 rear end but blew it out when racing a Chevy, lol. At the time I was strapped for cash so I ended up with a 2.10 gear ratio because it was available for a couple of hundred instead of 4+. The sunny side of that was that I didn't have to drive on double nickel roads because the motor was rapping hard at 70 m.p.h. on I-44. Plus my fuel mileage almost doubled. No more racing though...
It's been sitting in a field at a cousin's house for about 6 years now. The starter went out and I parked it due to not having anytime to work on it. Then I ended up here in KS and it's been looking all sad out in the north 40 with weeds growing around it. One of these days...

for mechanical horses you need some oil -> and this oil will be very rare in the future
Animals need just gras and so we will win always against mechanical horse power
The animals are leading again.

Plus natural horse power can be used with the yoke and harness to supply power if need be. Grass for fuel.
