Any ideas on how to use the dialup machine's modem for all Rosetta communication from both networked computers as asked here?

Windows ICS on the computer that is connected to the net (has the modem) and share through that. There is no centralised task caching system, and I don't think the devs are going to bother about it either.

A good idea though is that the big .gz and of course the .exe files can be coppied across though it takes some dedication on using less bandwidth to do that (I did it on 4 computer for over half a year :-)
