While more computing power is always beneficial, what else does the project need most at this stage? Are there specific areas where volunteers can contribute beyond donating crunching power? For example, are there needs related to software development, outreach, documentation, or anything else that could help this projects thrive? |

They need at least one programmer who can convert Linux scripts to run under Windows instead. Not enough information to tell if it would be useful to convert their workunits to run under OpenCL and therefore use GPUs. By the way, the Denis project (elsewhere) is running a beta test on a new version of their workunits foe simulating heartbeats. It needs some work on their server, though. and some work on getting their software to pass antivirus searches. |
